After extensive negotiating with the planning department, the practice gained approval for a blend of complimentary extensions and internal alterations to an existing dwelling. The challenging hillside location required a thoughtful design approach to meet the client's brief. Despite some planning department reservations, good levels of glazing were approved to ensure the dwelling could still benefit from the panoramic valley views. Facilitating external works have now been constructed and the main house project is now progressing at a good pace.
