Wilmslow Dwelling
Ongoing Wilmslow, East Cheshire
The practice added to the portfolio of Wilmslow projects with this scheme for a replacement dwelling. As part of the design process we created multiple external visuals as well as a walkthrough to help our clients imagine the internal spaces. Originally the project was set to be a renovation, with structural elements of the existing dwelling set to remain. After an engineer’s inspection however, it was clear that the existing structure was not fit for conversion and so the decision was made to demolish the building and construct a new build. Our team was on hand to respond quickly to the situation and produce a new design that included previous forms, but also allowed for new ideas from our clients that were not previously possible in the renovation scheme. The build is underway and estimated to be completed in mid-2024.
