Rowgate Dwellings
Ongoing Upper Cumberworth, Huddersfield
The practice has prepared a range of schemes for this hidden site in Upper Cumberworth. Planning permission has previously been granted for a detached contemporary dwelling. The design included large living spaces, with glazed apex openings facing spectacular views to the north. We have also prepared planning drawings for a new scheme to form two contemporary dwellings following a similar aesthetic theme. Provisions have been made to make both dwellings net zero carbon, which includes higher insulation levels, the installation of PV panels, and the installation of an air source heat pump system. We very much look forward to seeing this project come to fruition.
