The team was excited to be appointed on this project to convert an existing barn that boasts huge potential. The client contacted us with a brief to convert the building into a leisure complex, whilst also connecting the dwelling to the barn with a contemporary glazed link. Careful consideration has been given to the building's historical status. Elements within the building such as the relatively recent roof construction and blockwork walls offer scope within the design constraints of such a building, whilst also respecting the external appearance. The practice produced a series of internal walkthroughs and external views to help our clients visualise the scheme.
